For our production plant in Krefeld we are seeking to recruit an Area Supervisor (m/f) Ketogluconic Acid (KGA) POSITION PURPOSE: The position of the Area Supervisor KGA is related to the production of ketogluconic acid. Specific key accountabilities are in the area of safety & environment, employee engagement, efficiencies, yields and manufacturing costs. The position holder will report directly to the Plant Operations Manager. Main responsibilities/accountabilities: 35 % Evaluation, investigation and checking of the system results. This includes the supervision of the safety requirements and the quality as well as the investigation and controlling of the different budgets 20 % Development of the relevant production area and training of the system employees 20 % Development and assessment of the process improvements to reduce the manufacturing costs and improve the quality and safety 15 % Support, introduction and further development of Cargill Best Practice 5 % Interaction with central functions and support of projects in the area of fermentation 5 % Some further job relevant tasks if necessary Qualification Profile: University degree or equivalent with main faculty in engineering (e.g. process engineering, biochemical engineering), microbiology or chemistry 3 years relevant practical experience Excellent people manager Resilient, well-organized and communicative person with a high amount of self initiative Target-oriented style of working Team player Fluent in German and English (verbal/written) Willingness of doing business trips in Germany and abroad Experiences in relevant safety aspects and in the food industry, preferably in the fermentation industry OUR OFFER: In return for your expertise and commitment, we will provide a fast-paced stimulating international environment, which will stretch your abilities and channel your talents.
